Chris Heaton-Harris MP presents keys of Motability car to constituent

Chris Heaton-Harris, MP for Daventry, presented the keys of a new Motability car to his constituent Ian Thorneycroft on Friday 24 January. The presentation took place at Danetre Vauxhall, London Road, Daventry.

Chris Heaton-Harris presenting Motability car key to Ian ThorneycroftIan, 65, has severe arthritis in his toes and shoulders. He has also had two knee replacements, which restricts his mobility. Ian’s third lease with Motability, which he collected on the day, is a Vauxhall Astra. He said: “When I found out about Motability, I was impressed at how easy it was. I am very grateful to Motability as it helps me to stay mobile in a vehicle that is both comfortable and reliable.”

Chris Heaton-Harris MP said: “I am delighted to see how Motability is having such a positive impact in my constituency. Motability provides a lifeline to thousands of disabled people around the country, so I am pleased to meet Ian and see how he benefits so much from this important Scheme.”
