  1. Motability, the Charity, now accepting grant applications from all beneficiaries

Over the last five weeks our teams have been working hard to process applications that were paused before lockdown, and to reopen a number of grant programmes. We are now in a position to accept charitable grant applications from beneficiaries in all phases of our reopening plan.

Due to anticipated increased demand, our call waiting times may be longer than usual. Our opening times are 10.00am to 4.00pm, Monday to Friday.

  2. Motability announces new Senior Patron

I am pleased to inform you that the Prime Minister has kindly accepted my invitation, and is delighted to follow many of his predecessors to become Senior Patron of Motability, of which Her Majesty The Queen has been our Chief Patron since Motability’s very first foundation. The Charity was founded forty three years ago in 1977 by the late Lord Goodman and myself, with all-party support, in order to help disabled people and their families with their mobility. Since its inception the Charity has gone from strength to strength working alongside all Governments.

    Yours,

    Jeffrey Sterling

    Life President of Motability
