Motability, the Charity, phased reopening

Following much work to prepare our offices to make sure we have the necessary and appropriate measures in place to ensure staff safety, we are now in a position to enter phase one of our office reopening plan.

In accordance with current Government guidance, we are observing the two metre social distancing measures and will therefore be working at a reduced capacity. This means that we need to take a phased approach to accepting new grant applications.

Phase one - recovery.

We have now entered phase one -recovery.  During this time, staff will work through applications that were paused when lockdown began and any applications that have been received, but yet to be reviewed.  Phone lines will not be open to inbound enquiries, in order to allow staff to review applications quickly and to ensure that we can proceed to the next stage of reopening as soon as we can.

If you have a pending application, you do not need to contact us. We will be in touch with you in due course.

Phase two - reopening phone lines.

Once we have sufficiently recovered, we will enter phase two. Phone lines will then reopen to inbound calls and we will begin to accept new grant applications on a phased basis.

We will post an update when we are ready to move to phase two of the reopening plan.  Our website has all the information on our latest Charitable Grants FAQs for beneficiaries and our Coronavirus risk assessments

This has been an exceptional, unprecedented and challenging time for us all.  I am sorry for the continued inconvenience that this delay may cause, but hope that you can understand and appreciate the difficulties we continue to face, as our teams work through the backlog of paused applications as quickly as possible.
